By becoming an STLHE/SAPES member, you will save on the conference registration.

The 2020 STLHE conference will be held from June 9 – 12, 2020, with the main conference taking place June 10 – 12, 2020, and the pre-conference, June 9, 2020.

Early bird registration closes at 11:59 PM CST May 7, 2020.

Admittance to the Opening Reception is included with all full conference registrations (not one-day or only Pre-conference).

Admittance to the Gala Banquet is included only with Early Bird with Banquet and Regular with Banquet tickets. The Gala Banquet will include awards presentations and 40th anniversary celebrations.

Additional Banquet and/or Opening Reception tickets can also be purchased at additional costs.

  • All extra Banquet tickets are $75 + HST.
  • All extra Opening Reception tickets are $45 + HST.

Only early bird registrants are eligible for student bursaries.

Lunch will be provided to conference attendees on June 10th and 11th.

Conference Refund and Cancellation Policy

Full refunds less a $30 (+tax) administration fee will be given before June 1, 2020. No refunds will be given on or after June 1, 2020, however exceptions due to COVID-19 and illness will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

All cancellations MUST be received in writing to the Registration Coordinator (conference-congres@stlhe2020sapes.ca).

In the event of cancellation or non-attendance due to an emergency, please submit your request in writing to the Registration Coordinator (conference-congres@stlhe2020sapes.ca) no later than June 30, 2020. Refunds will be granted on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation of the Conference: In the event that the conference cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the conference organizers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the conference organizers, then conference organizers cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as: transportation, accommodations, etc. Under these circumstances, the conference organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future conference, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the conference and which could not be recovered from third parties.
